91% alcohol is the best all around disinfectant available. It kills all major viruses on contact, will sterilize wounds and can remove most adhesive and permanent marker. Unlike acetone it will not burn the surface of plastic and change the color. Although it can strip paint, do be careful
If you wipe down mosquito bites with this it take stop the transmission of West Nile virus.

Vinegar is excellent for removing rust. It is kinda fun to watch, take a rusty bolt or tool and put it in a plastic container, go to the kitchen, grab the bottle of vinegar and pour enough to cover it. Set it aside and check on it every few hours or the next morning...pull out your blackened (oxide) bolt, scrub it clean with water and voila no more rust. Wipe it down or Give it a shot of WD40 to protect it from new rust Use this method with old rusty tools the kids or whoever have left in the yard for a year...even with extreme rust a good soak and voila!
Thanks for that I will give it a go, I only have normal placed holes on my trainer though, however I have had a bit of an ingrowing toenail since I got some new trainers adn I think may the toe is pressing on the top/side of the shoe, so that might help.
