I think I would. Take it out in an ocean bay and just spend the day on it.

Sealander | Amphibious CamperSealander takes camping to a whole new level, your camping adventure won´t end at the shore anymore... The innovative and mobile accommodation lets you travel on land and on water, it can be used as a customary caravan, or you can use its amphibian characteristics to travel on water! Inside it offers a table and seating for six people that can be transformed into a large bed. The fully-equipped interior includes cooking/washing module, cooler, heater, toilet and sound system. Cool! escape daily grind on your very own "island” through your chosen waters without requiring any special license. watch the video at the link.
Well after looking at the pictures. Maybe. It seems limited. You seem to be stuck inside when I would rather be outside either swimming or fishing. It doesn't look friendly to fishing at all. I think I might get bored with it.

Yeah, but that's kind of limiting. You can't even sit out and take in the sun. It might be nice as a place to sleep at night but you could do that with it on land. Taking it to another location while on the water, means leaving your driving vehicle behind. If I want to take some people out on the water for swimming and dinner I guess but changing clothes could be tricky unless you are on very friendly terms with your guests. It just seems limited.

That depends on the person. Some people are strictly recreational who wouldn't mind such a limited machine. Not all of us have any interest in learning seamanship or fishing. They want to get this close to the water and troll themselves to the middle of the lake. Somebody did suggest that this is probably more appropriate for a lake resort to buy and rent out. That would be a more fitting place for it.

Like Speed said, it would suit people that like to drink and party. It might be attractive to singles as a make out pod.

There is no deck so you have to climb in and bring all that water with you and most people don't care to sit around in wet bathing suits. I don't know if those windows open or not, but if they don't you cant even get a cross ventilation or breeze in that thing.

That is really cool. I'd rather have a houseboat though.

It would keep you safe from zombies, unless they were walking on the bottom of the lake, then they could tip you over!

That is really cool. I'd rather have a houseboat though. That would be nice! My husband and I spent a week on one cruising up and down the Shuswap lakes in B.C. Best holiday we have ever had. We went in late May so there weren't a lot of tourists and the weather wasn't too hot.

Wouldn't be for me.
Admittedly, haven't done it for a while, but I enjoy fishing. This device is definitely not for a fisherman.

We looked at several these that didn't float and found that they were too small even for us under 6 ft. humans. My main concern would be stability and water tightness if it encountered a large wave or high winds.
Give me a pontoon boat and a tent any day.

That thing might be nice for a candle lit dinner but just doesn't seem practical for much else. With pontoons you can have a canopy overhead and just drift around all you want or use it for fishing or gatherings.
